Argonaut Hotel, A Noble House Hotel

A few years ago I had a business trip in San Francisco so we added an additional couple of days and Danny and I came out for a long weekend to see some of the local sights.

Since we had never visited, we went back and forth on where we wanted to stay (and went crazy over the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor) and finally setteled on the Argonaut.

Small but cozy rooms.

The rooms are small but comfortable and we were lucky to get a room with a view over the piers to Alcatraz.

Alcatraz at sunset.

It’s easily walkable to the nearby tourist spots. Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman’s Warf and it even has a Maritime Musuem on property.

I got a hot fudge sundae!

Nice daily wine and beer reception and everyone we dealt with at the hotel were great. I wasn’t crazy about the décor online but in person it was really quite quaint.

Comfortable seating for predinner drinks.

We had breakfast at the restaurant that was very good.  There were too many other options near by for dinner so we choose to go elsewhere.

So many food options just a walk away.

I loved the bathrobes in the closet. If we come back we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
