On our last trip to Disneyworld we had reservations at Raglan Road. We have eaten here several times in the past and thought that the clients we were traveling with, one who is of Irish heritage, would enjoy the mix of interesting food and lively entertainment.
We had 8:00 reservations and were hoping for a seat closer to the stage, but there was none available. They told us we could choose to wait but there was nowhere in the bar to sit, so we took the hi-top table in the back right near the bar. We ended up being able to see somewhat and obviously the music was loud enough to enjoy.
Our waitress was very outgoing and we all ordered some specialty cocktails. We all ordered something different of the menu, but I can’t remember what anyone else had as I didn’t take notes that night. I love risotto so I ended up getting that. I know we all enjoyed our meals and we even ordered different desserts. My favorite desert on property is Ger’s Bread and Butter pudding. I should have just ordered that as my meal and I would have been happy, it’s delicious.
The waitress “heard” that it was my birthday and it was our clients first visit, so she put candles on everything!
We shared a glass of mead while we continued to enjoy the music.
We enjoyed a very nice meal with excellent service and energetic entertainment and would return again.
